Damascus Hunting Knife Leather Sheath, Olive Wood Handle Full Tang Bushcraft Camping Blade Gift for Him Handforged Fixed Blade Skinner Knife

$22.99
  • Forged by hand

Every blade is hammered, ground and finished by a smith. No two are identical.

  • Damascus steel

Layered high-carbon steel, heat-treated to hold a keen working edge.

  • Leather sheath included

Each knife arrives with a hand-stitched sheath, ready to carry or gift.

Description

Hand-forged from 1080 and 15N20 high carbon steel, folded and twisted into roughly 288 layers. The two steels take etching differently — one darkens, the nickel-bearing one stays bright — and that contrast is what draws the pattern out of the blade.

Because the twist falls differently every time, the pattern on your knife exists nowhere else. The photographs show the style, not the exact piece you will receive.

The blade

A 4.5-inch drop point with a generous belly — the shape that actually works for skinning and field dressing, where you need to sweep along a hide without puncturing it. The same curve handles kitchen and camp work: slicing, portioning, food prep.

The spine carries hand-filed jimping for thumb grip when you choke up for detail cuts.

The handle

Two woods, not one. Olive wood at the front, dark hardwood at the rear, divided by a green fibre spacer and secured with brass pins and a mosaic centre pin. Olive wood is chosen by makers for its density and grain — it takes a warm polish and improves with handling.

Full tang construction throughout: the steel runs the entire length of the handle, so there is no joint to work loose.

Leather sheath included

Hand-stitched leather with contrast white saddle stitching, a tooled face and a brass button stud closure. Belt loop for vertical carry, moulded to this blade specifically so it seats firmly and stays put.

Care — please read

Damascus is high carbon steel, not stainless. It will develop a patina with use — this is normal and expected, not a defect. Wipe the blade clean and dry after every use, and apply a light coat of mineral oil before storing.

Do not store the knife inside the leather sheath for long periods. Leather holds moisture against carbon steel and will cause rust.

A note on gifting

This knife arrives ready to give — the pattern, the olive wood and the stitched sheath do the work without wrapping. A common choice for birthdays, anniversaries, Father's Day and retirements. Gift box available on request.

Not a toy. Sold for lawful outdoor and utility use only. Buyer is responsible for compliance with local knife laws.

No, you can check out as a guest. An account just makes it easier to track orders and reorder later.

Is every item handmade?
Yes. Each blade is hand-forged and finished individually, so the Damascus pattern, wood grain, and handle shade vary slightly from piece to piece — that's the mark of a genuine handmade knife.

Do knives arrive sharp?
Yes, every blade ships razor sharp. Open your package carefully and keep it away from children.

What's your return policy?
Unused items can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery, with the sheath and original packaging included.

Forged by hand. Built to outlast you.

Every blade begins as billets of high-carbon steel, folded and hammered until the Damascus pattern rises to the surface. Hardened, ground and finished by hand, then fitted with a rosewood handle and a stitched leather sheath.

No two are the same, and none are made by a machine.
